Charissa is an American sportscaster born on 5th May, 1982. ESPN analyst was recruited in 2012 as co-host of SportsNation. She hosted ABC's Splash alongside Joey Lawrence. Thompson, who was raised and born in Seattle Washington, hosted Splash on ABC. Thompson was the eldest child of three, and realized at an early age that she wanted to become a journalist. She was a student at Inglemoor High School in Kenmore Washington. Thompson relocated to California to attend the California Community college. Later, she transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, where she earned the degree of B.A. Law and Society, in 2004.
